Installation

  1. Create sandbox directory, preferably a subdomain root directory, such as http://sandbox.domain.com or http://domain.com/sandbox/ if using a subdomain is not possible.
  2. Create a live site directory. For examplehttp://domain.com/ or http://domain.com/website/.
  3. Upload the contents of coyotecms onto a folder on your website, for example http://domain.com/coyotecms/ or http://sandbox.domain.com/admin/
  4. Create two databases, a sandbox and live database. If you do not need a sandbox you can use only one database. Dump dev.sql into the sandbox database.
  5. Upload a copy of makepage.php and makecss.php into both the sandbox and live directories.
  6. Fill out all the information in the three files in coyotecms/config
  7. Fill out the correct absolute paths in makepage.php and makecss.php
  8. Log into the cms at the directory you created. For example at http://domain.com/coyotecms/ username: admin password:
  9. Go to the Users table and update the admin password
Demo Login
Try it out for yourself. Log in below to access the administration area. Some features (such as the Template and Module editing) are disabled. Demo Site is cleaned every hour.
